Singing over the bones is a term from the book “Women who run with the wolves” by Clarissa Pinkola. In the myth, La Loba lives in the desert. Her only work is to collect bones. When the skeleton is complete, she sings over it. Analogue to the myth, songs of female authorship are gradually piled up to the point of saturation. This process is made in real time by Ableton Live software. In the second part, the audio is played by cassete which overlaid with live singing.

Side A - songs of female authorship are gradually piled up to the point of saturation.
Side B - the audio is played by cassete which overlaid with the singing.

23 songs were used and during the process of stacking 17 of those play at the same time.
The cassette tape embodies a dead process and singing intones rebirth.

“Cantar sobre os ossos” é um termo retirado do mito da Loba, a Mulher Selvagem. No mito, a Loba é uma senhora que vive nas montanhas e seu único trabalho é o de recolher ossos, preferencialmente de lobos. Ao completar o esqueleto, ela canta, e o corpo se refaz. Analogamente, nessa performance o canto é executado sobre a fita k7. Dentro dela, estão os ossos – músicas de autoria feminina sobrepostas gradativamente de modo a decompor o som. Vivencia-se a morte como passagem para um novo milênio. O novo século é feminino.

Lado A - músicas de autoria feminina são gradualmente empilhadas até saturar.
Lado B - o mesmo áudio é disparado pela fita k7 e o canto se sobrepõe a ele.

Foram utilizadas músicas de 23 artistas e no processo de empilhamento 17 é o total que soa ao mesmo tempo.
A fita k7 encarna um processo morto e o canto entoa o renascimento
